Fusing glass is a process of cutting
separate pieces of specially formulated and colored glass and then fusing
(melting) them to form one solid form. After the glass is fused it is heated a
second time to create the shapes you see here. It is a painstaking process that
produces spectacular results. Many of Clark's designs contain a thin line of
clear glass separating the colors. This adds a signature element that
produces the unique illusion of an almost metallic outline to the designs.
